Do I have to give a recorded statement to the insurance company in a Rhode Island auto accident case?

Return to Videos

Transcript:

You do not need to give a recorded statement to the other driver’s insurance company in Rhode Island. If your own insurance company requests a statement from you, you are required to comply with that request. You can have an attorney present. The important thing is that you must make sure you are aware of which insurance company you are speaking to before you provide a statement.
