I was a pedestrian accident victim after being hit by a car while I was in a crosswalk. Who has the right-of-way?

Transcript:

Pedestrians usually have the right away when they are in crosswalks. However, you cannot walk directly into the path of a moving vehicle that is so close it might strike you, nor can you come around from the side of a vehicle or a truck and suddenly appear in front of a motorist. You are obligated to look both ways before you begin crossing the street, even when it’s within a crosswalk.
