If I am not rendered unconscious from my head injury, could I still have a concussion?

It is not necessary to be unconscious in order to have a diagnosis of a concussion. Concussions are diagnosed by the symptoms that the doctors find in a person such as loss of balance, memory loss, fogginess, inability to do simple cognitive functions.
