What if I was partially at-fault for the Rhode Island accident because I was walking outside of a crosswalk or running across the street?

Transcript:

Rhode Island recognizes a legal concept known as comparative negligence. When that happens, your degree of negligence is compared to the degree of negligence of the other person that was involved in causing the accident. You cannot get paid for what was your responsibility, but you can get paid for the percentage of your claim that was the responsibility of the other individual.
